Falling Snow

It’s strange to think that yesterday I was outside with the kids playing in the leaves without coats, hats or mittens on. At one point the kids even took off their shoes and socks and ran around the yard feeling the leaves crunch underfoot.

But Wisconsin weather has a different idea of what the middle of November should look and feel like.

We couldn’t help but run outside at the first sight of these big flakes. Anyone who knows me knows I hate the cold, but to feel the cold snow hit your warm face feels wonderful. And to watch the excitement across your child’s face as this happens is indescribable.
